About Us

Any horse owner, fan, bettor and racing aficionado in the Philippines is knowledgeable about the most popular and widely circulated horse racing program in the country - DIVIDENDAZO.

This bi-weekly publication was established in 1932 by Julio Guidotti, Sr. who, thanks to his friends in the Manila horse racing society, race tracks and supporters were able to convince him to print a racing program in his own printing press, Economic Press Inc. Julio Guidotti, Sr. was born in the Philippines to Spanish parents who were originally from Madrid, Spain on December 15, 1910. He started working in the American owned printing press as a messenger and worked his way up, eventually saving enough money to purchase Economic Press, Inc. with the help of a dear friend and co-worker.

What started with just three employees that were required to get information on horses and jockeys, race performances and a tipster who gives tips on the three best horses of every race, Dividendazo has grown tremendously and now employs over 50 employees. In the 1930’s, only two races per week were held, on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as special races during some holidays. At present, races are held to as many as six days a week for the Filipino race fans to enjoy.

In this day of social media and mobile technology, going digital will allow us to expand the limited circulation of the paper program, which is currently only available in NCR and CALABARZON, thus promoting the sport by reaching more horse racing fans not just in the country, but in other countries as well.

Needless to say, Dividendazo is synonymous with horse racing in the country, and is known as the premiere and most trusted horse racing guide, as it also boasts the best lineup of tipsters that makes it a must have for any true karerista.
